Sadovy wins Lviv mayoral elections in second round: exit poll from Shuster study

According to the exit poll conducted by Liberty Report at the request of the Savik Shuster study, the current mayor of Lvov, Andriy Sadovy, gets 62.8% of the votes in the second round, and his rival, the people’s deputy from European Solidarity, Oleg Sinyutka, 37.2%.

In the second round of the elections for the mayor of Lviv, the current mayor, Andriy Sadovy, wins. This is demonstrated by the data from the exit poll, carried out by Liberty Report by order of the Savik Shuster study, according to Shuster’s online Facebook page.

According to the exit poll, Sadovy gets 62.8% of the votes, while his rival, the popular deputy of European Solidarity, Oleg Sinyutka, gets 37.2%.

More than 130 interviewers and controllers worked in Lviv at 60 polling stations. The survey was carried out by asking (face to face) at the exits of the venues. The expected marginal error is 1.21% with a 95% confidence level and excluding the design effect.



On October 25, local elections were held throughout Ukraine, except for annexed Crimea and the occupied regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. The citizens of Ukraine elected city, village and municipal heads, as well as deputies from regional, district, city, village and village councils. The elections were held for the first time in accordance with the new Electoral Code, according to the proportional system with open lists. According to the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, the turnout was 36.88%.

In the first round, Sadovy got 39.96% of the votes and Sinyutka – 31.03%.

Sadovy has been the boss of Lviv since 2006.
