Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Holland won the Golden Boy nomination.

The Tuttosport newspaper awards this annual award to the best player under the age of 21. The decision on the winner is made by vote.

This year’s award went to 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund and Norway’s Erling Holand.

Last winter the young footballer moved to Borussia from Salzburg, Austria for € 20 million and showed excellent play and results in Dortmund. This season, the Norwegian has played 11 games for the team, in which he scored 11 goals and gave 3 assists.

As a reminder, there were representatives of the Ukrainian Premier League among the nominees for this year’s award. The award was claimed by Dynamo Kiev player Georgy Tsitaishvili, as well as Brazilian footballer Shakhtar Tete.

It was previously reported that Real Madrid could sign the Netherlands in 2022.
