In Ukraine, they began to fine for the lack of a mask in public places and transport. The corresponding law No. 1000-IX came into effect today, November 21.

Please note that the Verkhovna Rada adopted the relevant law on the mandatory use of masks or respirators in public places and transport on November 6.

The document provides for a fine for the absence of a mask in the amount of 170-255 UAH.

They will be fined for staying in public buildings, structures, public transport during the quarantine period without wearing personal protective equipment, in particular respirators or protective masks that cover the nose and mouth, also manufactured by ourselves.

Violators can be fined on the spot and not through the courts.
