The head of the National Police, Igor Klimenko, said that the police would make a comment for not wearing masks in public places, if they refuse, they will record the crime.

“According to the innovations, the police can now not only draw up administrative protocols for the violation of quarantine, but also make decisions on the ground regarding people who are in public buildings or transported without wearing masks or respirators,” Klimenko said.
First of all, the police will act preventively, he said.
“First, they will make a comment. And only in case of refusal will they document the offender’s actions,” he explained.
On November 6, the Verkhovna Rada introduced fines for not wearing masks in public places.
Ukraine’s Justice Minister Denis Malyuska reported that the adopted law establishes fines in the amount of 170-255 UAH.
