In a hospital in Vinniki near Lviv, an explosion occurred during oxygen filling, the evacuation of patients is underway.

This was announced by the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy on Facebook.

“In Vinniki, there is an emergency situation with oxygen in a regional military hospital. Preliminary, we are talking about an explosion during refueling. Several dozen patients who need artificial oxygen supply need an urgent evacuation to other medical facilities. Among patients there are serious patients, “he wrote.

He also said that the ambulance teams had already left.

“At the moment, it is temporarily impossible to supply oxygen here. In total, there are 60 oxygen-dependent patients in the hospital. 30 will be received by the emergency hospital, 5 of them are in intensive care. 12 people are being transferred to the eighth hospital. “Sadovy added.

Later, the mayor said that the oxygen supply in the hospital was restored. At the same time, all the patients who managed to be evacuated to the emergency hospital will complete their treatment there.

On November 20, the mayor of Lviv announced that 130 additional beds were prepared in the Lviv emergency hospital in the new department for coronavirus patients. He assures that it was equipped with everything necessary: ​​X-rays, ultrasound machines, oxygen concentrators and the like.
