Buslavets lost her position as head of ministry

In an extraordinary meeting on November 20, the Cabinet of Ministers relieved Olga Buslavets from her duties as Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection. Instead, Yuri Nikolaevich Boyko was appointed.

The government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Vasily Mokan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

According to him, at today’s extraordinary meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers approved two draft resolutions on such personnel decisions:

  • by recognizing as null the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 3, 2020 No. 604 (on the temporary assignment of the functions of the Minister of Energy to Olga Buslavets);
  • on the temporary assignment of the functions of the Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine to Yuriy Boyko (Deputy Minister of Energy).

Cabinet replaced the head of the Ministry of Energy

Let us remember that on April 16, the Cabinet of Ministers in an extraordinary meeting appointed Olga Buslavets to the position of First Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection – Acting Minister.

Note that on March 30, the question of the appointment of Olga Buslavets to the post of Minister of Energy was withdrawn from consideration in the Verkhovna Rada. As the Speaker of the Parliament, Dmitry Razumkov, said, a letter came from President Volodymyr Zelensky on this issue.
