A man with a grenade demands to ban gambling, lower interest rates on loans, and increase pensions.

The hijacker in Tbilisi demands a ban on gambling, a reduction of the interest rate on loans to 7% and an increase in pensions. These are the requirements listed by the man, whose appeal was broadcast on the Rustavi 2 television channel on Friday, November 20.

According to media reports, the man is drunk and is holding an unidentified object that looks like a grenade. Presumably, the criminal’s name is Levan Zurabishvili.

According to the Interior Ministry, he is holding nine people hostage.

Let us remind you that a similar incident occurred in August in Kiev. In the city center, a citizen of Uzbekistan entered a bank branch, said he had a bomb and asked to call the police. He asked to send him the media to record the appeal. Secret service agents entered the office disguised as journalists and arrested the criminal.

As it turned out later, the man had a neuropsychiatric record with a diagnosis of oligophrenia. He was presented to reporters as a “holy spirit.”
