Ukraine steps up the fight against COVID
In Ukraine, they are preparing to introduce electronic recipes and instructions for PCR, as well as to launch a chat bot for an ambulance.
Ukraine will introduce new digital tools in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic. This was stated by the head of the Finance Ministry, Mikhail Fedorov, on Facebook on Friday, November 20.
In each referral hospital will be responsible for updated information on the number of people infected with coronavirus, hospitalized and the number of beds. A chatbot will appear based on this information. Through it, ambulances will be able to know how many places are left and where to take the patient.
“Thanks to the tool, ambulance dispatchers will understand where to send a patient for hospitalization. In the near future we will launch a pilot project based on a region,” wrote Fedorov.
In addition, the Vdom application will be updated. People may indicate symptoms to be managed by the Public Health Center.
“Electronic references for PCR tests. The tool is already working in polyclinics, we are preparing functionality for ambulances and hospitals. This will allow monitoring the results and duration of the tests,” added Fedorov.
As noted by the minister, the service has already been developed and is available to medical workers.
Finally, the Ministry is introducing an electronic prescription for antibiotics, which will reduce the chaotic use of antibiotics on its own, and is also preparing a strategy to introduce a QR system to monitor the situation in public places.
Recall that previously the Ministry of Health updated the list of countries in the red zone. Entry is prohibited from 44 countries, notably Georgia, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Italy, France, Portugal, Hungary, USA and others.
Likewise, the Ministry of Health said that the workload of the COVID beds is decreasing. Despite the increase in the incidence of the coronavirus, the occupancy of beds in hospitals is decreasing.
