The headquarters of US President Donald Trump asked a federal judge to declare him the winner in the state of Pennsylvania, ignoring 6.8 million popular votes.

Business Insider reports.

In a statement to the court, attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Mark Scarinji asked a judge to declare Trump the winner in Pennsylvania.

«Ultimately, the plaintiffs will seek a way to have Trump declared the winner of the 2020 Pennsylvania general election and thus the recipient of Pennsylvania’s electoral vote, ”the statement read.

The judge emphasized during the hearing that Trump’s headquarters is asking to invalidate more than 6.8 million votes.

This is the third edition of a lawsuit to appeal the results of the Pennsylvania elections. The court has not yet decided whether to accept the new application.

During a press conference in Washington, Giuliani said that more than 682,000 «Pennsylvania postal ballots cannot be counted, apparently because Republican observers were denied access by counting them.

Business Insider writes that Trump headquarters filed 21 lawsuits to appeal the election results, but the court satisfied none.

According to Fox News, former Vice President Joe Biden received nearly 82,000 more votes in Pennsylvania than Trump.

Previously, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court dismissed a claim from Donald Trump’s headquarters that observers in Philadelphia were unable to fully monitor the vote count.

Before that, the Republican Party of the United States filed a lawsuit demanding to invalidate nearly 10,000 ballots that arrived late in Pennsylvania. However, the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit dismissed the claim.

On November 13, the United States finished counting votes in all states. The winner of the presidential election was the Democratic candidate Joe Biden: he received 306 electoral votes against the 270 required. Donald Trump has 232 votes.

Trump refuses to admit defeat and calls the election rigged.
