Grebenshchikov – recipient of the Russian FSB award for his role in the television series Phantom
During border clearance, border guards found that the citizen illegally visited the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, where he participated in the filming.
The Ukrainian border guards did not allow Russian theater and film actor Kirill Grebenshchikov to enter the country. Furthermore, the citizen was prohibited from visiting Ukraine for a period of three years due to his visit to the annexed Crimean peninsula, writes Ukrainska Pravda, referring to the press secretary of the State Border Service, Andriy Demchenko.
It is noted that Grebenshchikov arrived at Boryspil airport on a flight from Minsk.
According to the Russian actor, he came for the television shoot.
During border clearance, agents of the State Border Service of Ukraine established that the citizen illegally visited the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, where he participated in the filming. With such actions, he violated the requirements of Ukrainian legislation on the procedure for entering and leaving the WTO of Ukraine.
Grebenshchikov himself, the newspaper notes, refused to acknowledge visits to the Russian-annexed peninsula of Ukraine.
As a result, the man was denied entry to Ukraine. In addition, the border guards issued him a decision on an entry ban into Ukraine for three years.
We add that Kirill Grebenshchikov is in the Ukrainian base Peacemaker for participating in the filming of the films Anna Karenina, Season of Love and Closed Season in the annexed Crimean territory in 2017, 2019 and 2020.
Recall that the Russian actor was prohibited from entering Ukraine for three years.
We also add that a group of Russian actors twice tried to reach Ukraine. For a second attempt to reach Ukraine, various actors have increased the entry ban period from 3 to 10 years.
