Ukraine’s largest online store, Rozetka, sent a letter to those who pre-ordered the PlayStation 5 notifying that they would not receive their console from the first batch of shipments on the day of sales start, November 19.
“Dear customer! Thank you for choosing us to reserve a SONY PlayStation product. Unfortunately, the arrival of the merchandise is delayed. Approximate dates of receipt in the warehouse – 21-24.11.2020. We will inform you of the shipment date by call or SMS Thank you for your understanding and expectations. We apologize for the delay. “
At the same time, Rozetka made an announcement about the delay in deliveries on her Telegram channel, noting that consoles and peripherals are already arriving in Ukraine and, after customs clearance, cities will begin to disperse.
The PS5 launched in select countries on November 12 and today, November 19, goes on sale worldwide.
In Ukraine, the PS5 pre-sale started on October 22. Initially, stores, including Rozetka, committed to deliver orders to customers in Kiev on the day of the start of sales on November 19, and to the regions from November 21 to 23.
Previously, Sony initially decided to sell the PS5 only in online stores (it is not known when the console will be sold). At the same time, Ukrainian stores have long reached the limit and still do not accept new orders. It is not known when the new PS5 deliveries to Ukraine are expected.
