Of the total number of deputies elected in local elections, representatives of the Servant of the People, VO Batkivshchyna, Opposition Platform – For Life party received the most mandates. This was reported by the Central Election Commission of Ukraine.
On November 18, the Central Electoral Commission received the results of the deputy elections of 1,517 local councils from the territorial electoral commissions, which represents almost 96.2% of the total councils whose deputies are elected in local elections. This was reported by the press service of the CEC.
“6,586 elected deputies were nominated by self-nomination (in territorial communities with up to 10,000 voters). 33,029 elected deputies were nominated by local organizations of political parties. Candidates proposed by parties participated in elections in two electoral systems. In territorial communities with up to 10,000 voters – under the majority system, in communities with 10,000 and more voters – through proportional representation through open lists. In general, 110 political parties received their representatives in the municipalities of different levels, “it was reported.
Of the total number of elected deputies nominated by the parties, the representatives of the Servant of the People party received the highest number of mandates, almost 17.59% (5,809). More than 12.39% of the deputies of the local councils (4093) represent the VO “Batkivshchyna”, in third place is “Opposition platform – For life” (3881 mandates, or 11.75%).
The top ten among elected deputies who were nominated by the parties also included: “For the Maybutn” – more than 11.42% of the total number of seats (3773), “European Solidarity” – almost 10.73% (3543 ), “Our land” – almost 5.13% (1694), VO “Svoboda” – more than 2.61% (863), “Groysman’s Ukrainian strategy” – almost 1.72% (567), “Proposition” – more than 1.66% (549), Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party – almost 1.62% (535).
The CEC received information on more than 98% of the elected chiefs of rural cities and settlements. Of these, 661 ran for themselves, 733 were nominated by local political organizations.
Of the total number of chiefs, almost 30.74% (225 people) represent the Sierva del Pueblo party. They are followed by representatives of “For Maybutnє” – more than 12.43% (92), OV “Batkivshchyna” – more than 7.24% (53), HLS – more than 7.1% (52), “Our land” – almost 6.15% (45), “European Solidarity” – more than 5.6% (41 ), “Ukraine Groisman’s Strategy” – 3.83% (28), “Dovira” – more than 3.14% (23). According to the election results, other parties delegated fewer than 20 people to the posts of presidents at various levels, the Central Election Commission reported.

On October 25, local elections were held throughout Ukraine, with the exception of annexed Crimea and the occupied areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Citizens of Ukraine elected heads of cities, towns and settlements, as well as deputies of regional, district, city, town and village councils. The elections were held for the first time in accordance with the new Electoral Code, according to the proportional system with open lists. According to the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, the turnout was 36.88%.
