During the last day, November 18, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and their mercenaries once again violated the silence in Donbas by firing provocative shots at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
There are no casualties or injuries among the Ukrainian defenders and the situation in the area of the Joint Forces operation remains under their control. The OOS headquarters on Facebook reports on this.
In particular, it is noted that the enemy used small arms in the area of the Maryinka village. The shots did not pose a threat to the life and health of the Ukrainian soldiers, so they did not open fire in response.
The JFO headquarters adds that since the beginning of this day, November 19, there have been no violations of the terms of the agreements that entered into force on July 27, 2020 in the Operation area. Silence is observed throughout along the entire line of contact.
“The subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the defense forces continue to carry out in good faith the tasks assigned to the JFO carried out on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions,” emphasized by the military.
