Seniors are encouraged to come to the store at specific times

Commercial and service establishments are required to enter from 10:00 to 12:00 hours for purchases by older people.

In accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, so-called priority hours are introduced in tents for the elderly. This was announced on Wednesday, November 18, by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov.

This was done to reduce the number of cases of coronavirus infection in people at risk.

“Older people are at risk. Therefore, it is important that they have as little contact as possible with others, because the percentage of deaths is the highest among people over 65,” said Stepanov.

The priority schedule is from 10:00 to 12:00.

“The initiative will last a period of quarantine. I hope that all commercial and service establishments follow this,” said the minister.

We will remember, until the end of November in Ukraine there is a weekend quarantine. Additionally, the general quarantine was returned across the country, now the orange zone restrictions are in effect.
