Ukraine allocated lifetime payments to six doctors who have recovered from COVID-19
The medical workers were sick with coronavirus, after which they were assigned disability groups based on the degree of disability.
Socialistarch has assigned lifetime monthly payments to six doctors who fall ill with COVID-19 at work. This was reported by the fund’s press service on Wednesday, November 18.
At the same time, the amount of the monthly payment for each doctor is determined individually, based on the degree of disability and average income.
The foundation has assigned monthly COVID-19-related insurance payments to four healthcare workers who have an established disability group:

an anesthesiologist from the Odessa region, who was diagnosed with disability group II;
-
a cardiologist from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who was diagnosed with group II disability;
-
a general practitioner of family medicine from Volyn, who was assigned disability group III;
-
the head of the admission department, a surgeon from Kiev, who has a disability group III.
At the same time, the total amount of insurance payments that the fund will make monthly to these health workers is 46 thousand 245 hryvnia.
In addition, Social Security has designated monthly insurance payments related to the COVID-19 disease, two doctors who have established a permanent disability:

a senior paramedic – a laboratory assistant from a clinical diagnostic laboratory in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who was found to have a permanent 25% loss of professional ability to work;

a general practitioner from the Poltava region, who was found to have a 10% permanent loss of professional ability to work.
“The total amount of insurance payments that the FSSU will make monthly for these medical workers is 2323 hryvnia,” the department summarized.
We recall that previously the Cabinet of Ministers explained the delay in payments to the relatives of the deceased doctors. Investigation of 114 doctor deaths from coronavirus was completed. Of these, only 35 were recognized as production-related and 79 were unrelated.
