Former world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew spoke about Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk’s chances in a fight with heavyweight champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
«Of course, Usyk has a chance against Joshua or Fury. Your boxing skills determine whether you have these opportunities in a duel with any opponent. The tendril can outlast anyone. And I think he will defeat everyone, unless the opponent gets close to him and doesn’t make size a big factor in battle.
I think Usyk is an amazing fighter, but in the end he will be beaten on size. And this is very sad, because I think this should not be the case in boxing. If size beats you and not your opponent’s class, then overall, you are competing in the wrong weight class. Divisions exist for a reason. Usyk is a great fighter, but I find that Fury and Joshua are too strong opponents for him.»Bellew said.
It was previously reported that former champion Deontay Wilder is ready to fight Usik.
