Local elections in Kryvyi Rih: Vilkul will not participate in the second round

The current mayor of Krivoy Rog Yuriy Vilkul will not participate in the second round of the elections. He will not run for election for health reasons.

Vilkul said this in a video message.

The head of Kryvyi Rih appointed Konstantin Pavlov, a PLWL candidate, as his “successor” who, due to Yuri Vilkul’s withdrawal from the elections, entered the second round.

Note that Yuri Vilkul was hospitalized on November 13. According to doctors, he has problems with the cardiovascular system and needs long-term treatment and rehabilitation.

During the first round of elections, Vilkul obtained the highest number of votes.

The second round of local elections in Krivoy Rog will take place on November 22. Also on Sunday elections will be held in Dnipro, Slavyansk, Drohobych, Uzhgorod, Brovary, Berdyansk, Poltava, Lvov, Rovno, Nikolaev, Cherkasy.

We will recall, in four regions of Ukraine voting in local elections will be repeated.

Furthermore, according to the CEC, turnout in the second round of the elections to the mayor of Ukraine was 24%. This is the data as of November 15 at 8:00 p.m., that is, at the end of the voting and the closing of the voting tables.
