Kolesnik resigned on September 30, having received 773 thousand UAH payments
After being fired from the Interior Ministry, where he worked for a year, and receiving 770,000 payments, the man got his job back 10 days later, according to the journalistic investigation.
The wife of the Attorney General of Ukraine, Irina Venediktov Denis Kolesnik, resigned from the post of Deputy Head of the Cyber Police Department. He received payments of several hundred thousand hryvnias and again got a job in the same position. This is stated by the research of Bihus.info.
According to journalists, Kolesnik submitted a resignation letter on September 25. He worked in the structures of the Ministry of the Interior for a year. The Attorney General’s husband asked for social benefits.
A couple of days later, on September 29, they paid him just over 770 thousand hryvnia. The next day, he was formally fired.
On October 1, Kolesnik filed a statement of changes in the status of the property. He pointed out that when he was fired he received 608,000 hryvnia at a lump sum, 48,000 financial aid and 14,000 “for the improvement of health” were assigned to “solve social problems.” In addition, Denis Kolesnik received 103,000 UAH as collateral.
On October 9, Irina Venediktova’s husband got a job again, which he resigned on September 30.
“In addition to the deputy head of the Department of Cyber Police, the position of the head of the second department (organizational and analytical work and support to activities) of the National Police of Ukraine is also indicated,” reporters say.
Before that, Venediktova told how she survives on a salary of 38 thousand hryvnias. The attorney general’s family expenses are too high to be covered by the “quarantine” salary.
As previously reported, Venediktova announced a record number of liquidated bands.
