According to preliminary data, in the Kherson mayor elections 63.59% of the voters voted for the people’s deputy Igor Kolykhaev.

The people’s deputy of the group “For Maybutn группы”, the founder of the party “We live here”, Igor Kolykhaev, won the election of the mayor of Kherson. The public movement “Chesno” reports on this.

According to preliminary data, the Popular Delegation was supported by 63.59% of the voters.

According to the protocol of the Kherson territorial electoral commission, 34,125 people voted for Kolykhaev.

His opponent, former Kherson mayor Vladimir Saldo, has 18,135 votes.

On October 25, local elections were held throughout Ukraine, except for annexed Crimea and the occupied regions of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The citizens of Ukraine elected city, village and municipal heads, as well as deputies from regional, district, city, village and village councils. The elections were held for the first time in accordance with the new Electoral Code, according to the proportional system with open lists. According to the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, the turnout was 36.88%.

In the second round of the Kherson mayoral elections, which took place on November 15, Kolykhaev and Saldo, who were nominated from the homonymous bloc, entered the second round. A total of 17 candidates participated in the elections. The current mayor, Vladimir Mikolaenko, did not show up.
