Government Bill # 2240 was introduced to Parliament on October 8. In the first reading, the parliament supported it on November 12, and in the second, on December 19. Zelensky signed the law on December 27. The document introduced unified exploration permits with the right to extract amber for a period of five years in an area of up to 10 hectares through electronic auctions.
