33486 people tested per day

As of November 16, most of the cases were registered in Kiev, as well as in the Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kiev and Odessa regions.

In Ukraine, as of Monday morning, November 16, 9,832 new cases of COVID-19 were registered. At the same time, 2,753 people recovered, deaths – 94, said Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov on his Facebook page.

“9,832 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine as of November 16, 2020. In particular, 354 children and 360 health workers became ill,” Stepanov said, adding that 1,100 people were hospitalized during the last day.

The head of the Ministry of Health indicated that 33,486 tests were performed per day (by PCR – 28,685, ELISA – 4,801).

During the last day, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in the Kiev regions (879), as well as in the Dnepropetrovsk (847), Zaporozhye (807), Kiev (648) and Odessa (633) regions.

Vinnytsia region: 13,948 cases;
Volyn region: 18,936 cases;
Dnipropetrovsk region: 22,069 cases;
Donetsk region: 17,201 cases;
Zhytomyr region: 22,847 cases;
Transcarpathic region: 19,559 cases;
Zaporizhzhya region: 19,291 cases;
Ivano-Frankivsk region: 28,440 cases;
Kiev region: 25 141 cases;
Kirovograd region: 3710 cases;
Lugansk region: 5169 cases;
Lviv region: 37,466 cases;
Nikolaev region – 12633 cases;
Odessa region: 33,415 cases;
Poltava region: 15,262 cases;
Rivne region: 25,210 cases;
Sumy region: 18,324 cases;
Ternopil region: 23,757 cases;
Kharkov region: 48,179 cases;
Kherson region: 7126 cases;
Khmelnytsky region: 23,136 cases;
Cherkasy region: 13,478 cases;
Chernivtsi region: 28,336 cases;
Chernihiv region: 11,557 cases.
