Conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan – Big traffic jam on the Karabakh highway

[ad_1]

A traffic jam of several kilometers formed on the highway from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia. The line was formed from those coming out of the city of Karvachar (Kelbajar).

Reports from Media Az.

According to the signed peace agreement, the Kelbajar region should go to Azerbaijan today, November 15.

According to the congestion participants, it took about five hours to overcome the 1.5 km stretch. The reason for the congestion was the low capacity of the auxiliary road, on which two streams of cars crossed: the refugees and those returning to Stepanakert. More than 250 people have already returned to Stepanakert.

Furthermore, on November 20, the Agdam region should be transferred to Azerbaijan, and on December 1, the Lachin region. The three districts were not affected by the war, but their local residents were forced to leave their homes.

As RBC-Ukraine reported, Azerbaijan and Armenia exchanged the bodies of the dead on the battlefield around the town of Shusha in Nagorno-Karabakh. The exchange took place through the mediation and participation of the Russian army.

Let us remind you that on November 10, an agreement was reached on a cease-fire in Nagorno-Karabakh and the introduction of the Russian army in the region. At the same time, Ukraine issued a statement that Russia has no reason to call in the military who were sent to the Nagorno Karabakh peacekeepers.
