Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is now sick with coronavirus, commented on rumors about the high cost of his treatment in Feofania.
This was announced in his second video blog, published on social networks.
Zelensky said that he works remotely, being in self-isolation, and that his treatment is carried out in a general way, like other patients.
«I feel pretty good. They say that the main guarantee of a speedy recovery is really good humor. Therefore, as paradoxical as it may seem, I would like to thank our constant opponents for the falsehood that my treatment costs millions of hryvnia a day. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to laugh, cheer me up and take care of my health in this way. Of course, this is all nonsense. I’m in the hospital in general, like all the other patients. And together with them, we expect from you a new and happy lie, “said the president.
On November 9, it became known that Vladimir Zelensky had contracted the coronavirus. Soon, the head of his office, Andriy Yermak, announced a positive test for COVID-19.
Now Zelensky is in self-isolation in Feofania. As explained in the PO, this medical facility was chosen because there is a special situations room equipped there. According to the president’s press secretary, Yulia Mendel, he and Yermak have mild symptoms of coronavirus. He explained that Zelensky’s treatment in Feofania is foreseen in the protocol.
