Health Minister Maxim Stepanov has tested positive for COVID-19 and is isolated at home.
The head of the Ministry of Health continues to work remotely, including conducting daily briefings.
He announced it on his Facebook page.
“This is an unusual format and an unusual place for my address. I record it from home, because despite being careful and following all safety rules, today I tested positive for COVID-19. I will be in self-isolation at home, I will work as usual, but remotely, ”said the minister.
He also asked Ukrainians to abide by the quarantine rules for the sake of their own safety and the safety of their loved ones.
“I urge you, dear Ukrainians, to comply with all quarantine rules and do not visit crowded places. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. See you at a briefing on Monday and stay healthy, ”emphasized Maxim Stepanov.
