Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who suffers from the COVID-19 coronavirus infection, said he felt “good enough” and denied the falsehood about the cost of his treatment.

On November 14, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, posted on Facebook a video blog recorded during the self-isolation at the Feofania hospital.

“They say that the main guarantee of a speedy recovery is good humor. So, paradoxical as it may seem, I want to thank our opponents for the falsehood that my treatment costs millions of hryvnia a day. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to laugh, cheer me up and take care of my health in this way. Of course this is all nonsense, I am in the hospital broadly speaking, like all other patients. And together with them we expect new funny lies from you ”, he said.

The president noted that he continues to work remotely.

This is Zelensky’s second vlog recorded on Feofaniya. This video also showed the appeal of the first vice president of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk and the deputy prime minister: Minister for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories From Ukraine Aleksey Reznikov, who also suffers from COVID-19.

The president posted the first video blog on November 12, the third day after receiving a positive test result for COVID-19. The head of the president’s office, Andrei Yermak, who is also being treated at Feofania, was also confirmed to have a coronavirus infection.

The adviser to the head of the president’s office, Mikhail Podolyak, said that Zelensky has a special equipped office in Feofania where he can hold meetings. Ermak, according to Podolyak, is also in isolated room, but does not have a special office.

Zelensky’s wife Elena has been ill with COVID-19. On June 16, the first lady was hospitalized with bilateral polysegmental pneumonia. On July 3, the Office of the President reported that Zelenskaya has recovered from COVID-19. In August, the president said that along with his wife, their son Kirill had been ill with a coronavirus infection.
