Filatov urged businessmen to observe the mask regime and quarantine restrictions.

On May 20, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced the so-called adaptive quarantine: regional authorities were given the right to independently weaken the restrictive measures, subject to compliance with a series of criteria. On October 13, the adaptive quarantine was extended until the end of 2020.
Cabinet of November 11 introduced a “weekend quarantine” in the country… The head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Maxim Stepanov, said that we are talking about three weekends, starting next weekend. The media wrote that such a quarantine can last until December 31 of this year.
“Day off quarantine” states that from 00:00 on Saturday to 00:00 on Monday in Ukraine, only grocery stores, pharmacies, transportation, gas stations and veterinary pharmacies will operate. Restaurants, cafes or other catering establishments will only operate takeout. The “weekend quarantine” will “stop the wave of coronavirus disease,” Stepanov said.
On November 12, authorities in several cities refused to impose strict restrictions; against quarantine, in particular, they spoke in Odessa, Cherkassy, Nikolaev, Rovno, Lutsk. Lviv Mayor Andrey Sadovy said the City Council will appeal the Cabinet’s decision.
