Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about his health after confirming the coronavirus. The head of state is now in self-isolation and performs his functions remotely.
The president said this on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.
According to Zelensky, he is doing well now.
“For the third day I am in self-isolation. But I have not isolated myself from work and work remotely. The authorities, I think, are working normally. I have important meetings and phone conversations these days,” he said.
Recall that the head of state confirmed the coronavirus on November 9. After being diagnosed with COVID-19, the president went into self-isolation. The same day, it became known about the illness of the head of the presidential office, Andrei Yermak.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, today it became known that Zelensky is in the Feofania hospital in the capital. A spokesman for the president said Zelensky has mild symptoms of the disease.
Later, the Office of the President explained why Zelenskiy decided to be hospitalized.
