Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers decided to introduce the weekend quarantine this week. Lvov, Rivne, Cherkassy refuse to present it, what is the situation in the regions – on the RBC-Ukraine material.
Head of town Cherkasy Anatoly Bondarenko does not admit the weekend quarantine. He believes that all businessmen in the city have the right to work in accordance with quarantine regulations.
“I have not seen more stupidity than a weekend quarantine. For that reason, I want all 36.6, and that all businessmen work and fill the budget of the city, it is for this budget that we treat all citizens, “he said in a video message.
According to him, tomorrow there will be a meeting of the commission on energy and fuel security and emergency situations, then a decision will be made on how the Cherkassy businessmen will work.
IN Soft Mayor Vladimir Khomko said local authorities would make the decision to strengthen the quarantine only on November 16.
“We will hold our commission on Monday and then we will make a decision on it,” he said.
In this sense, the quarantine will not be reinforced in Rivne this weekend.
Mayor Lviv Andrei Sadovoy said the city will not introduce weekend quarantine. Furthermore, the Lviv City Council will challenge in court the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to strengthen the quarantine over the weekend.
“We will report on further steps when we receive the details of the government’s decision,” he added.
Meanwhile, in the country, the protests have lasted for a second day over the introduction of the weekend quarantine. The protests resumed in Zaporozhye and Rivne.
Recall that the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Maxim Stepanov, was outraged by the statement of the chain of Epicenter shopping centers on the weekend quarantine.
Note that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the introduction of the weekend quarantine. However, there is no sentence yet.
At the same time, in Ukraine today for the first time more than 11 thousand cases of coronavirus.
