Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov was outraged by the statement by the Epicenter shopping mall chain about the weekend quarantine. He asked the government to respond to this.

Said this during an online briefing.

Stepanov urged them to go with him to the intensive care unit.

“Do you want to ‘play’? Make a sham about people’s health? Come with me to the intensive care unit!” Bragging “in front of people who die every day, who are in intensive care,” he said.

The minister said there will be a response from the government.

“I am sure that my colleagues in government, who are also responsible for control, will give an appropriate response,” said Stepanov.

RBC-Ukraine in the press service of “Epicenter” replied that they had not received an official resolution from the Cabinet.

“As soon as we receive it, we will study it and then publish the position on how Epicenter works. Now we do not have that position. So far there are only informational messages, but we need to see the document,” says the response.

The retailer posted a post yesterday announcing “72 Hour Friday.”

“We have food, medical supplies, medicine, we have animal feed. We are importing fuel,” they wrote in the mail.

Let us remember that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the introduction of the weekend quarantine. Already in the next weekend and for at least three weeks, the activities of cafes and restaurants (work to go) and other entertainment establishments will be limited. They will primarily operate grocery and home stores, gas stations and pharmacies.

However, more than 20 Ukrainian cities protested against the new introduction. Restorers urged not to impose such strict restrictions.
