At the updated Legal Reform Commission meeting, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to audit all reforms implemented in Ukraine. In his opinion, this will help to resolve the constitutional crisis in Ukraine.

Zelensky explained that the audit would help correct the mistakes made in the reforms and bring the legislation into line with the Constitution.
“A thorough audit and evaluation of the effectiveness of previously implemented reforms is worthwhile. Only with such analysis will we be able to correct errors and create legislation consistent with the Constitution of Ukraine, international legal acts and the recommendations of the Commission. of Venice, “said the head of state.
The president added that the reason for the constitutional crisis in Ukraine was the lack of adequate regulation, its incompleteness and vague nature of some aspects of the activities of the judiciary.
“I look forward to effective decisions and concrete exits from the commission, both from the current constitutional crisis and from the total crisis of confidence in the judiciary. Even if this requires amending the Constitution,” Zelensky emphasized.
As a reminder, the European Parliament recently announced that it appreciates the progress in implementing reforms in Ukraine, but expressed some disappointment due to insufficient fight against the oligarchy.
