Starting tomorrow morning, after the traditional server restart, on World of warcraft expansion preview patch main event begins Shadowlands… Your goal is to prepare the world of Azeroth and its inhabitants for the discovery of the Dark Lands.
All participants in the event will be able to repel the attack of the Scourge on the capitals, Orgrimmar and Stormwind. This will be only the third time in the game’s history that the capitals are in danger. This happened previously before the arrival of the Lich King and before the discovery of Naxxramas.
Once in the city, the zombies infect the players and they have two options: succumb to the infection and turn into a zombie himself or find a doctor. Zombies are hostile to both the Horde and the Alliance, and can only communicate with each other. Newcomers just leaving Exiled Isle are immune to infection.
The main story missions and daily locations will open in the second week of the event. And in the first, a battle with Nathanos Blightcaller, who has become a world boss and lives in the Eastern Plaguelands, will be available. A raid of experienced players can oppose him.
During the event, players can earn a new type of in-game currency, “Silver Rewards”. For them, you can, in particular, buy a set of level 100 armor from special merchants – for nine items you will have to award 135 prizes. They also have a unique battle pet, the Putrid Ghost.
Additionally, bosses from past expansions will return to Icecrown for a time as rare elite opponents with special trophies if they win. In particular, Armor from the Forge of Souls can “drop” a rare 34-slot bag.
The Shadowlands expansion itself will launch on November 24 at 2:00 Moscow time.
