In Odessa, a car flew to a stop with people

The car, according to the police, was moving at a speed of about 120 km / h. Four people were injured. Two are in serious condition.

On the Avenue of the Hundreds of Heaven in Odessa, on the night of Tuesday, November 10, a large-scale accident occurred: a Toyota passenger car flew towards a stop where there were people, according to the local newspaper Dumskaya.

Information about the accident reached the police at 18:30. Law enforcement officers led by the head of the regional department of the National Police, Oleg Bekh, arrived at the scene.

The driver of a Toyota born in 1971 explained to police that he was avoiding a collision with a BMW, turned right and hit the curb, after which his car stopped. Video from surveillance cameras near the crash site confirms his words about the presence of another car.

According to media reports, the car was moving at significant excess speed, around 120 km / h.

Beh said the accident injured a 39-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter, a 16-year-old boy and a 48-year-old woman. Two victims are in serious condition. All the injured were hospitalized.

The driver has no obvious signs of drug or alcohol intoxication, he is now undergoing a medical examination.

In connection with the accident, criminal proceedings have been opened.

Earlier in Kharkiv, a 22-year-old Volkswagen driver hit four people on a safety island. As a result of the crash, three people were injured: the woman fell into a coma, the child had multiple broken arms and legs, and the man had broken legs.
