“On the president’s health: everything is fine. He feels good. He has isolated himself, but he continues working,” he said.
Presidential press secretary Yulia Mendel said in a comment to Ukrainska Pravda that she now only has a “low temperature” from the symptoms of the disease.
“However, he is cheerful and in a good mood. He will work from home, where he will be in an isolated room. He will monitor his health and will be under the supervision of doctors. We expect a speedy recovery and a mild illness,” he added.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.
As of November 10, there were 479,197 cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine, of which 10,179 were in the last 24 hours. 8756 patients died, 214 657 recovered.
Zelenskaya was sick COVID-19 in June. The Office of the Presidency initially reported that she was fine, but on June 16 the first lady was hospitalized with bilateral polysegmental pneumonia. On July 3, the Office of the President reported that Zelenskaya has recovered from COVID-19. In August, the president said that along with his wife, their son Kirill had been ill with a coronavirus infection.
Zelenskiy tested positive for COVID-19 on November 9. The coronavirus infection was also confirmed by the head of the President’s Office, Andrei Yermak. They both went into self-isolation and remote operation.
