Zelensky made new appointments

The Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Sumy regions received temporary heads of regional state administrations.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed temporary acting heads of the regional state administrations of Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa and Sumy. This is demonstrated by the decrees of the head of state of November 9, published on his official website.

So Zelensky temporarily entrusted the functions of the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration to Maria Savka, the head of the Odessa regional state administration to Vyacheslav Ovechkin, and the Sumy regional state administration to Sergey Pakholchuk.

All of them were previously deputy directors of the respective regional state administrations. Savka already served as head of the state administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk region in the summer of 2019.

We will recall, on November 5, Zelensky removed Vitaly Fedorov from the post of Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, from the post of Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration – Maxim Kutsoy, from the post of Head of the Regional State Administration Sumy – Roman Grishchenko. They were applied.

Zelensky was also reported to have made several staff appointments at the SBU.
