Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed an armistice agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh following the recommendations of the Armed Forces of Armenia. In Armenia, there were problems with the mobilization of the reserve for the continuation of hostilities.
Pashinyan said this during a video message to the people on the morning of November 10.
“The army said we have to stop. Because we have questions, there are no prospects for their solution, or the resource has been exhausted,” Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that the country was experiencing problems with systemic mobilization.
“Practice has shown that, unfortunately, civilians are not so willing to fully participate in hostilities, they quickly lose their combat effectiveness, which creates problems,” added Pashinyan.
Recall, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, Pashinyan said that he had signed a “difficult decision for his people” regarding the end of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Later, the Prime Minister of Armenia said that he had no other choice, but did not mention the reasons for this decision.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared that the ceasefire agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh is the surrender of Armenia.
It was also reported that the President of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan, explained that Karabakh was unable to continue hostilities due to the lack of modern weapons. If the fighting continued, Karabakh could be completely captured.
