The protesters stormed the assembly hall of the Armenian National Assembly without resistance from law enforcement officials. There are MPs from the “Bright Armenia” faction who are trying to calm the protesters.

News.am reports this.

The protesters demand a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Onik Gasparyan.

It was previously reported that the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan was beaten during the protests in Yerevan.

Let us remind you that the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that he had signed a “difficult decision for his people” regarding the end of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Shortly after the document was signed, protests began in Yerevan.

Pashinyan has already criticized the protests, saying that “in this way the protesters are attacking the military at the front.”
