The protesters gathered in front of the government building in Yerevan due to their disagreement with the prime minister’s decision to end the war around 1 a.m.

Dissatisfied with the decision to end the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, they broke the cordon and broke into the building of the republic government. People broke the doors of the offices in the Armenian government building.

Some of the protesters protesting against the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on the Karabakh issue, went to the government dachas where Pashinyan and his family live.

Law enforcement officers guarding the territory said the prime minister was not at home and that from time to time clashes broke out between police and protesters.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the protesters also broke the windows of the first floor of the parliament.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a declaration to end the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Armenia, according to the text of the declaration, must return to Azerbaijan the regions and territories of Kelbajar, Agdam, Lachin held by the Armenian side in the Gazakh region. Yerevan will leave behind the 5 km wide Lachin corridor, which will ensure the connection of Nagorno-Karabakh with the republic. Russia will send about 2,000 peacekeepers to the region.
