The Russian Defense Ministry announced that a Russian Mi-24 military helicopter was shot down on the territory of Armenia.

According to the Defense Ministry, the helicopter crashed near the village of Yeraskh.
As “Sputnik Armenia” writes with reference to a source in the power structures of the Russian Federation, the helicopter was shot down by a missile from the direction of Nakhichevan (a city in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, which is part of Azerbaijan) .
