During the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Armenian army lost control of the city of Shusha. The settlement is fully controlled by the Azerbaijani side.

The press secretary of the head of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Vahram Poghosyan announced this on Facebook.

“Today, unfortunately, we have to admit the failures that still accompany us, and the city of Shushi (Armenian name – ed.) Is completely out of our control and all the propaganda theses about it do not give us anything,” Poghosyan said.

He also noted that Azerbaijan is already approaching the capital, Stepanakert.

Note that before that, they announced in Baku about the encirclement of the Armenian forces in the Shushi region.

We will recall, earlier it was reported that Azerbaijan occupied more than 20 villages in Nagorno-Karabakh. Today the army is advancing deep into Nagorno-Karabakh in all directions.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared that there is no need to involve Turkey in the military conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh now. At the same time, this option is possible if Baku confronts the Yerevan aggression with the support of Moscow within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
