The coronavirus in Ukraine is gaining momentum, our country is setting records for the number of COVID-19 infected per day.
And since November 9, quarantine restrictions have been tightened in several regions in relation to updated epidemiological zoning: the entire map has turned “orange” and “red”, there are no “green” and “yellow” zones.

🔴 “Red” quarantine zone in Ukraine: a list of regions and settlements
Since November 9, 199 administrative units from 23 regions have been assigned the “red” level of epidemic danger.

During the past week, two regional centers were added to the “red” level of epidemic danger: the cities of Kramatorsk and Zaporozhye with an incidence rate of 383 people per 100 thousand inhabitants.
In total, 13 regional centers are assigned to the “red” level:
- Zhytomyr
- Ivano-Frankivsk
- Chernivtsi
- Rivne
- Khmelnitsky
- Chernihiv
- Kharkiv
- Kramatorsk
- Uzhhorod
- Zaporizhzhia
- Nikolaev
- Poltava
- Sumy.
What is prohibited in the “red” zone:
- public transport operation;
- activities of shopping and entertainment centers, cafes and restaurants;
- visit educational institutions.
🟠 “Orange” zone in Ukraine
The “orange” level of epidemic danger, in particular, includes 11 regional centers:
- Vinnytsia
- Lutsk
- Ternopil
- Lviv
- Dnieper
- Kropyvnytskyi
- Severodonetsk
- Odessa
- Kherson
- Cherkasy
- Kiev.
It is forbidden to work in the “orange” zone:
- hostels and tourist centers (except hotels);
- restaurants, discos at night;
- gyms, fitness centers, cultural institutions (except for institutions that can guarantee the visit of no more than one person for every 10 square meters of room);
- camps for children;
- prohibited – mass gatherings of more than 100 people (one person per 20 square meters);
- scheduled hospitalizations in hospitals (this does not apply to the provision of medical care to pregnant women, newborns, cancer patients, palliative patients and cases where there is risk to the patient’s life);
- road passenger transport and city public transport is carried out only in the amount of 50% of seats.

Adaptive quarantine in Ukraine
- Since August 1, the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine provides for the division of all regions into four zones: “green”, “yellow”, “orange” and “red”, depending on the epidemiological situation in each of them separately.
- In each of the epidemiological zones, various quarantine restrictions were established. The mildest are in the “green” zone, the most severe bans are waiting for the “red” zone regions.
- The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the adaptive quarantine until the end of 2020.
