“When, if not today?”– thought before the party the president of Lviv “Rukh” Grigory Kozlovsky. Not a single victory in eight rounds and a unique leadership at the bottom of the table, clearly did not dream of such an ambitious owner, doing everything for his team to be in the elite.
“When, if not today?”, – thought before the game the mentor “Inguls” Sergei Lavrinenko. He has already played 12 games in the Premier League (before he managed “Zirka”), but never managed to win. Alexander Povoroznyuk believed in him, inviting him to work with a Petrovo club, which turned out to be the right decision. Today was a real opportunity to take the next step, because the “Ingulets”, as the head coach, in the first division have not yet enjoyed the taste of victories.
At the beginning of the fight, calm prevailed over courage. “Rukh” started very happy, playing the first number and with a great reserve of desire, however, as is often the case with Lviv, excessive efforts negatively affected the game in defense. The defense of the hosts allowed Sitchinava, who finally came out at the start, to break into the penalty area, after which Kopina, for some reason, began to push the striker from behind. Nika decided not to be heroic, but simply fell – a penalty. The 11-meter Bartulovich regular player did not hit well, but Bandura, who reached for the ball, failed to save – 0: 1.
The first goal scored added excitement to today’s action, which only hurt the players. The referee started handing out yellows to the right and left, and the Ingulets defender Kucherenko even worked on two yellow cards, having left the field early. Alexander disappointed the team today.
“Rukh” increased the pressure early in the second half and twice found happiness at Krynskiy’s gate. Initially, Boychuk (assists) and Mysyk (the author of the accurate shot) took advantage of the gaps in the visiting defense, and then Pavlov decided to commit a foul within his own penalty area. The referee signaled the point a second time, and the second time the player outplayed the goalkeeper – 2: 1. It’s time for “Ingulets” to show character.
Lavrinenko’s players coped with their task perfectly: Kovalenko decided to attack from outside the penalty area, Bandura fought hesitantly in front of him, and the defense did not prevent Kozak from breaking through. And again the draw, already familiar to today’s teams. The result was to the liking of the guests, who played with ten men for more than half. They had a task: “to last a day, but to last a night”, having gained another point in the new season. The “Ingulets” were practically not exhausted in the counterattacks, and Momol’s only forward, who replaced the tired Sitchinava, worked together with everyone on defense. The whole team fought for the result.
The final whistle recorded a predictable draw with an unpredictable number of goals. Unlike the game “Rukh” and “Minai”, which was last week, the show here was much more interesting, but no one managed to clinch the initial victory. Perhaps the Lviv team did more than the rival to score the three points, but there are still many problems in defense that Ivan Fedyk will have to deal with.
