Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced the capture of the city of Shusha (Shushi in Armenian – ed.) In Nagorno-Karabakh by the Azerbaijani army. He said it during a speech to the people, reports Report on Sunday, November 8.

“Today the Azerbaijani flag flies over Shusha. This is probably the happiest day of my life. Native Shusha, you are free! Native Shusha, we are back! Native Shusha, we will revive you! Shusha is ours! Karabakh it’s Azerbaijan! ” Aliev.

In turn, the Armenian side has not yet confirmed Aliyev’s words.

“The fighting continues in Shushi. Please wait and believe our troops,” wrote the representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, on his Facebook page.
