The Arizona Republican Party and the Republican National Committee have filed suit in Mericop County Court over the Arizona vote. They believe that during the vote counting in the district, polling station officials did not take into account potentially decisive votes.
Reported by Reuters.
The Republicans in their lawsuit cite some observers and two voters who argued that a problem with the voting machines led to the rejection of some of the votes.
Supporters of President Donald Trump demanded manual verification of ballots that voters submitted in person. They also asked the judge to prohibit the confirmation of the voting results until the verification was completed.
Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs called the lawsuit a ruse and said Trump supporters were “grabbing for straws.”
Recall that Trump’s entourage advised him to prepare for the possibility that he would lose the election. However, the speech in which the candidate admits defeat is not being prepared.
In addition, on the eve of the leader of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, announced his election as president of the United States. In turn, the current head of the United States, Donald Trump, intends to sue.
