Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko commented on the US presidential elections, calling them a shame and a mockery of democracy. This was stated in a meeting with journalists during his visit to the Belarusian nuclear power plant, reports BelTA.

“The bulwark of democracy. Look at what is happening with these elections. This is a shame, a mockery of this democracy,” Lukashenka said.

He added that elections in the United States are being held with serious violations, and Western countries and the OSCE will be afraid to demand re-elections, as demanded by Belarus.

“Next week we will see this comedy at the finish line. This is already a comedy and a disgrace for all democracy. And it is good that this happened, that we saw the essence of this democracy. This is quackery. Only the strong and those who can stand firm are respected in the world… We will stand, “Lukashenka summed up.

Let us remind you that the presidential elections were held in the United States on November 3. The candidates for the office of the country’s 46th president are Republican and incumbent Donald Trump, as well as Democrat Joe Biden, who is currently the leader of the presidential race.
