In the evening, 6 shots were fired at the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in Kharkov. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs blamed the Armenians for this.
This was reported by the press service of the country’s Foreign Ministry.
The country strongly condemns such actions. The Foreign Ministry said Azerbaijani police agencies will cooperate with the Ukrainian ones to bring those responsible for the bombing to justice.
“Given the recent threats coming from radical Armenian forces to Azerbaijani diplomatic missions abroad, this attack on our Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv must be seen in the context of these threats,” the statement said.
Recall that at night it became known that the Azerbaijani consulate in Kharkov had been shot. As a result, the glass and the entrance doors were damaged. No person was injured as a result of the shooting.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky reacted to accusations by filmmaker Sarik Andreasyan about supplying weapons to the Azerbaijani army. He was outraged and said that Ukraine had never supplied phosphorous bombs anywhere.
