Curfew will be applied in Tbilisi and other big cities

Starting at 10:00 p.m., all institutions and establishments in large cities will be closed, with the exception of hospitals and pharmacies, as well as strategic companies.

Georgian authorities are imposing a curfew in large cities starting November 9 due to an increase in the incidence of the coronavirus. This was reported on Saturday, November 7, by the Georgia online edition with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Maya Tskitishvili.

According to her, the curfew is imposed from 22:00 to 05:00 in Tbilisi, Batumi, Gori, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Poti and Rustavi.

Starting at 10:00 pm, all institutions and establishments in these cities will close, except for hospitals and pharmacies, as well as strategic companies.

The restrictions also do not apply to international transportation and the movement of media representatives.

As previously reported, Georgian authorities ordered citizens of the country to wear protective masks not only indoors, but also outdoors. Violators of the mask regime will be fined 20 lari ($ 6). In addition, the operation of restaurants throughout the country is limited.
