In Ukraine, the cost of imported gas for the month, from October to November, increased by 23%, from 3,955.7 to 4,848.3 UAH per thousand cubic meters. This price increase will also be reflected in the rates for Ukrainians.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development, Commerce and Agriculture, if as of October 1 the gas cost $ 140.5 (the average cost from early September to early October), on November 1 the price was $ 171, 2 (the cost from the beginning of October). until early November).

Since August 1, Ukrainians buy gas at unregulated rates. There are dozens of different vendors on the market and families can choose from whom and at what prices to buy. The increase in the price of imported fuel will eventually lead to an increase in tariffs on the payments of ordinary Ukrainians.

Note that, as OBOZREVATEL previously wrote, gas prices in Ukraine will grow until February 2021. At the same time, it is almost impossible to predict blue fuel prices at this time. Oksana Zaporozhskaya, an analyst at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, spoke about this. According to their estimates, the price increase can last until February 2021.

“Now, in the UEB, resource prices in October and November are trading in a similar price range: about 6,500 UAH per thousand cubic meters with VAT. While there is a trend towards growth, but when will there be a limit and a transition to a decline, it is impossible to say for sure. It will be provisionally in February 2021 “, – says Zaporozhye.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Naftogaz announced that they would sue suppliers for debts for gas supplied to the population under the terms of the All-Union Coalition (at lower prices than for companies). They reached 24,000 million UAH.

The Cabinet of Ministers in mid-August allowed the gas to be turned off. If previously companies were obliged to supply gas to all domestic consumers and religious organizations in their authorized territory, now this condition has been removed.
