Before boarding a plane to France from Ukraine, all passengers 11 years and older must present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the French Embassy in Ukraine said.
In Ukraine, as of November 11, all passengers on flights to France must present negative test results for the presence of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection. This was reported on November 6 by the press service of the French Embassy in Ukraine.
“Before boarding a plane bound for France from Ukraine, all passengers over the age of 11 must have a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test,” the message reads.
The embassy also noted that the PCR should not be done before 72 hours before departure.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. March 11, 2020 World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.
According to the US Johns Hopkins University, France ranks fifth in the world in the spread of COVID-19: 1 million 709 thousand cases of the disease have been confirmed in the country, 39 thousand people have died and 131.8 thousand have been recovered.
As of November 6, coronavirus was confirmed in Ukraine in 440 thousand people (9721 – in the last day), 8125 patients died, 195.5 thousand – recovered. During the last 24 hours, Ukraine has recorded the highest daily number of recoveries (10,762 people) and deaths (201).
