Among the infected players is Ukrainian midfielder Yevgeny Shakhov. In addition to him, COVID-19 was found in defenders Efstratios Svarnas and Nassim Chnid, as well as midfielder Petros Mantalos, two of whom (Svarnas and Mantalos) were present on the field in their team’s starting lineup.
The AEK has already managed, according to protocol, to report the health status of the players to the competent authorities and the local Super League, and also transferred the players to self-isolation.
The reaction of Luhansk Zarya is to be expected in the near future, since, according to the same protocol, all participants in the fight will have to be examined for infection.
We remind you that the Lugansk team lost yesterday in their third match this season in European competition (1: 4), and their next match within the UPL is scheduled for November 8, a home match with Poltava Vorskla, which should start at 7.30pm.
