In the “red” quarantine zone on the updated list there were 13 regional centers. Furthermore, two areas completely turned “red”.

The corresponding decision was made by the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

Thus, Zhitomir, Uzhgorod, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankovsk, Nikolaev, Poltava, Rovno, Sumy, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Chernigov and Kramatorsk were included in the “red” zone. Compared to last week, Kramatorsk and Zaporozhye were added to the “red” zone.

At the same time, the Poltava and Zhytomyr regions are completely “red”.

“198 administrative units from 23 regions have been included in the ‘red’ level. 86 more than in the previous week,” Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko said in a briefing.

Recall that today Ukraine was divided into two quarantine zones. There are no longer “yellow” and “green” quarantine zones in the country, all regions have turned “orange” or “red”.

It was also reported that Kiev remained in the “orange” quarantine zone.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the Ministry of Health proposes to introduce a new indicator for the “red” quarantine zone. It is associated with the number of positive tests for coronavirus.
